Dorvin and Betty have lived on Maui most of their adult lives.
They are prominent in the Hawaiian construction industry, aviation
and in philanthropic endeavors. They live on the water a block from my studio
where they sat numerous times and where this painting originated. They
are a most delightful couple. They will celebrate their 60 wedding
anniversary in October 2008.
